Renovation of historic two-story commercial and restaurant building in the heart of Oakland's Chinatown.
DC Construction was contracted to act as a consultant to the architect, owner, and City of Oakland's Historical Board for the design of the building from start to finish. In addition, DC Construction was the general contractor hired to be responsible for:
Complete retrofit of the entire 15,000 square foot commercial space
Complete rehabilitation of exterior façade with new balcony + railings
Historical reproduction of the exterior moldings + trims
New footings + framing
New underground sewer system + new electrical system
New tile roof, elevator, and grand staircase
4 new ADA bathrooms
